What a GovCon Virtual Assistant Does

A GovCon virtual assistant is a remote assistant trained in federal contracting work: screening SAM.gov and agency forecasts, keeping SAM, DSBS and certification records current, shredding RFPs into compliance matrices, formatting volumes and chasing teammates for résumés. It costs a fraction of a full-time hire.

Your assistant works on the same team as our proposal writers and cleared recruiters, so when a pursuit gets big, senior help is one message away.

Virtual Assistance FAQs

Can a virtual assistant access classified or CUI information?
No classified work is performed. For CUI, assistants work only inside your approved systems under your policies, or stay on non-CUI tasks.
What will the assistant actually do?
Recurring work like SAM.gov screening, registration upkeep, compliance matrix drafts, proposal formatting, CRM updates and calendar support. You approve the task list.
How is this different from a generic VA service?
Our assistants are trained on federal contracting basics and backed by senior proposal consultants, so you are not teaching someone what an RFP or a CPARS is.
Is our data secure?
Assistants work inside your systems with role-based access, and we keep them off classified and CUI work unless your controls allow it.
Can we start small?
Yes. Most clients start with 10 to 20 hours a week and scale up during proposal season.
How quickly can an assistant start?
Typically within 5 to 10 business days of a scoping call.
